Innovator to assist people with disabilities :
Asst. Prof. Dr. Zeng is dedicated to creating innovations and inventions to assist in the rehabilitation of people with disabilities. The shortage of medical equipment, especially non-urgent medical devices currently one of the main public health issues in Thailand. Throughout his tenure as a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Zeng has utilized his knowledge and ideas to invent innovations such as "JodJum" (which means memorize) a low-cost note-taking device for people with visual impairment, and "Good Walk" an electrical stimulation device to aid in the rehabilitation of stroke patients with Foot Drop. One of his notable achievements is the invention of an animation game system controlled by arm movements for the rehabilitation of stroke patients. By selecting appropriate alternative technologies, he has been able to produce and donate these devices to over 200 public hospitals nationwide. This project has fostered collaboration with hospital networks in each health district for training and equipment delivery, supported by both the public and private sectors. The determination of Asst. Prof. Dr. Zeng's commitment to promoting learning opportunities and creating a better future for low-income youth and people with disabilities by providing access to technology.
